GIB lining in Auckland

Plasterboard fixed straight and screwed to depth, so the stopping and paint that follow have a flat surface to sit on.

5.018 Google reviews
New plasterboard lining on the walls and ceiling of a room, with pink fire-rated board on the back wall and the first coat of stopping over the joints and screws

Most of the faults you see in a finished wall start at the lining stage. Boards hung out of line, joints in the wrong place or screws driven through the paper all show up later as cracks and ridges under the paint.

We line new builds, renovations and commercial fit-outs, and we work in with your builder so the job stays on programme. Because the same crew stops and paints the walls afterwards, there is no handover between trades and nothing to argue about later.

What we do

  • Walls and ceilings in new builds and renovations
  • Standard and wet-area board
  • Replacing damaged or water-stained sheets
  • Commercial fit-outs and tenancy work

The paint we finish with

When we paint the walls we have lined, stopped or plastered, it is with Resene or Dulux, so the finish is as good as the surface under it.

  • Resene, the paint the professionals use
  • Dulux
  • Reader's Digest Trusted Brand winner for paints, 2012 to 2023, voted by New Zealanders

Resene, voted New Zealand's most trusted paint brand every year from 2012 to 2023
